Donald R. Metz, D.O.
Dr. Metz graduated from the Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa in May 1974. After serving an internship at Dallas Osteopathic Hospital in Dallas, Texas, he began his career in family practice at Deer Park Family Clinic in July 1975. Dr. Metz serves as Chairman of the Deer Park Board of Health and Medical Director for the Deer Park Independent School District. He received his Bachelor of Science from Lamar University in May 1974.
Andrew S. Metz, D.O.
Dr. Metz began his practice with Deer Park Family Clinic, P.A. in July 2007. Dr. Andrew Metz graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas in May 2004. He completed his residency in Family Practice at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a board-certified Family Practice Physician. He received his Bachelor of Science from Texas A & M University in December 1999.
Blia Thao, MHS, PA-C
Blia Thao has been a practicing Physician Assistant at Deer Park Family Clinic, P.A. since September 2012. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma prior to relocating to Houston, Texas in 2012. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and sewing. Blia received her Master of Health Science in 2011 as a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center Physician Assistant Program. She also received a Bachelors of Science in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma in 2009.
Eva Prieto, MSN, FNP-C, RN
Ms. Prieto received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus in Microbiology from the University of Texas, Austin, TX in August 2005 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, AK, in December 2012. She received her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Practice from the University of Texas Health and Science Center, Houston, TX in May 2019. She is a native Texan and currently resides in League City with her husband and children. She has seven years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery/Triage and began her employment as a Nurse Practitioner with Deer Park Family Clinic in July 2019.
